Stanwood WA is a real small community (approx. 2 square miles) and is located northwest of Arlington WA and is the town you must drive through to get to Camano Island WA.  Stanwood is known for its Scandinavian heritage.

Stanwood and Camano Island host their yearly Fair the 1st week in August that is a lot of fun for the families around.
