Closed Transactions for October

Here are last month's statistics for North Tacoma, including downtown and University Place.

Activity picked up last month. 22% more homes closed in October this year than during the same month last year, but they took nearly three weeks longer to close.

The average sale was down 17% from the same month a year ago. Sellers accepted about 12% less than their original asking price.

Tacoma continues to be a buyers' market.

If you'd like the selling details of the home that closed in your neighborhood, just ask. I'll email you the information.

LeMay Trunk or Treat - Tacoma, Washington

Steven Cook (MLO #293441) Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston, King Counties: Loan Officer in Tacoma, WA

LeMay Car Museum will be holding a Trunk or Treat event at their Marymount Event Center Tacoma Washington on Sunday, October 30, 2011. The hours are from 2 - 4 pm. The Marymount Event Center of LeMay Car Museum is located at 325 - 152nd St E, Tacoma, Washington (near Sprinkler Recreation center).

For those unfamiliar with "Trunk or Treat" - the idea has been around for several years. The basic premise is that a family, or organization decorates the trunk of a car for the holiday, and has their candy or treats available either in the trunk, or next to the car. It is a way for many people to gather at a common area (parking lot, etc.) so that kids don't have to travel over neighborhoods where some may be less than desireable.

Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween.
