I received this email from a great friend of mine, who heads up the Clark County Humane Society.
If my animal loving friends could help him out, please do so! It is so easy, and really makes a difference!
"I just thought of something that you could do for us. There is a contest running
known as the Shelter Challenge. We are doing quite well but not good enough to
win a cash prize right now. If we can get people to simply enter a vote each day
for us, we can at least win a $1,000 prize. That would mean an awful lot to us
right now. We have the huge building debt staring us in the face in 6 more weeks
and everything we can get will help.
All people have to do is go to this site and enter Clark County Humane Society (also enter WI in the state box because
there are other Clark Counties in the US).
Simple as that. We have also found out that people can enter once per day from
each computer that they have access to. If we can get a bunch of people
bookmarking this site and voting for us each day I think we have a shot at the
$1,000 prize. Please tell everyone you know about this. We're already ranked
13th in the state and there are a few weeks left to go yet.
