The Red Door,....
Warm Rich Regal Sensual
There are many ways to describe the color red and all of it's many shades, tints and tones.
The color red draws the eye.
The color red gets attention.
The color red stands out!
The color red can actually get your heart beating a little faster. Do you want buyers hearts beating a little faster when they pull up to the property you are trying to sell? Would you like their hearts to keep that loving feeling as they enter your home, their eyes being drawn from one area to the next with just enough red to lure them in further and further into your home?

Red is not a good color to use overall, too much is reported to cause shortness of breath, aggression and anger. Shade, tint and tone are equally as important. Too bright will be overpowering or give the wrong message. Too dull and it lacks attention.
I would love to say that color selection and the placement of a red wall or accent piece is easy but, it is not. Consulting a Professional Home Stager is always advisable. It doesn't cost much to get the professional advice you need to help your property get just the right attention and become memorable to the most potential buyers possible!

It Started Out Like A Totally Normal Day.
In 2010 1.2 Million Poeple died from heart attacks.
515,000 were women who didn't recognize the symptoms.
Heart disease kills more women than any other disease!
While there is nothing funny about a heart attack, this video does a superb job of getting the message across and having the symptoms stick in your head. Men watch this and keep an eye on that special lady in your life. Women, watch this and take head to these warning signs. Don't brush these symptoms off as nothing!
When a woman has a heart attack the symptoms are much more subtle than when a man does.
Symptoms;
Pain in the neck, arms, jaw, back and/or stomach.
Shortness of breath.
Cold sweats.
Nausea and/or stomach ache.
Dizziness.
Tiredness.
Know the symptoms, recognize the symptoms and don't hesitate to call 911!

Groundhog day is over
but the month of February is just beginning
~ and~
it's all about the Heart, Health, Red and ways to stay warm!

Red ~ The color of passion, Valentines, cheeks in the cold. Did you know the color red can actually make the heart beat a little faster? It is the color to wear if you want to get attention as it draws the eye. Red is the color of life, the color used in holidays of love and giving. Red evokes hunger,....
More to come this month on the energy and use of Red!

Heart ~ How healthy is yours? This is the month of hearts, love and showing your love to that special someone in your life. Keep that heart pumping! Do you do it? Do you do it daily? Weekly? Monthly? Do you add a little spice to keep it healthy?
More on this topic to come!

Health ~ Health comes in many ways. February is the month of Heart Health, the perfect month to tweak your business plan to stay in optimal health, the month to reflect on the health of the relationships you are in be it family, friends, or business.
More coming soon!

Staying warm ~ Sure February is the one of the last months of Winter but, in WI it can still get quite cold. Fortunately, there is a vast array of ways to have fun and stay warm throughout. A friend of mine sent me this quote earlier today that warmed my heart and reminded me of all of you here in the rain!

"I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let’s face it, friends make life a lot more fun."
Thanks Sharon!
And while I am grateful it has been "RED HOT" busy in the Real Estate Market here in South Central Wisconsin,
I do miss all of you and hope to have some time to get back in the Rain!

Sights, Seasons and Scenery from South Central WI,
A Magical Morning!
It was unseasonably warm the first half of this week. The little snow we've received is all but gone sending loads of moisture into the air. On occasion when the cold front comes in quickly as it did Thursday Morning our area turns into a magical crystal coated world! Of course no matter what else is scheduled I had to grab my camera and run out the door.

Wishing you the very best Saturday!

Who have you touched lately?
And HOW did that touch make that person feel?
A short time ago I read an blog post What I learned When I Transferred over 6,000 Prospects From My Database...discussing a more personal way to contact prospects (great blog, check it out).
Last week I had a conversation with one of my brilliant colleagues about automated searches, and he mentioned a more personal way to use that.
Every Friday I get this little email from Stik.com and it says something to the effect of,..."Who have you impressed this week?"
~~~~~ Getting the message here? I am! ~~~~~
I hear over and over "automate, automate, automate" and I understand that. Some touches must be automated. However, I am a people person. And this is a people business. If you had to ask anyone in your life TODAY for a testimonial, recommendation, referral is there someone who you impressed enough this past week to get that from? Think about it!
While we go into this new week,
touch someone.
Make it personal.
Make it memorable.
Who have you touched lately?
And how did that touch make that person feel?
