Winterfest Update---our parade went through, people are stopping in for real estate guides, and it is warm! The thermometer only says 25 (high of 37 predicted) but the beautiful sun and blue sky makes it seem much warmer.

I had a great week showing property; have a few contracts to draft, and other items on the agenda today. Make it a great weekend! Fireworks in Fish Creek tonight!

VIA THE DOOR COUNTY FISH CREEK WINTER FESTIVAL:

Getting ready for Winter Fest! This is HILARIOUS. Are you one of those people who have always wanted to run in a race, but don’t really consider yourself a runner? Can’t stomach the thought of a 5K, let alone a half-marathon? The Fish Creek Fruit Loop may be the PERFECT race for you.

Touted as a non-grueling 1/53r...d marathon, Winter Festival revelers will hit the streets in the third annual Fish Creek Fruit Loop Sunday morning, February 5. Costumes of ANY kind are high encouraged in this fun run that follows a pleasant 1/2-mile jaunt through downtown Fish Creek.

A hydration station with a volunteer will be greeting and encouraging runners halfway through the race. Police will have traffic blocked, and an optional 1/4-mile “cheater route” is available for small children and those who just don't feel like running the whole route.

The race begins at 10:30am and ends at the tent in Clark Park. Once all participants have crossed the finish line, a post-race celebration will take place inside the tent. Partake in a breakfast of champions (Froot Loops and milk), and marvel at the heralded Olympic-style awards ceremony.

Directly after the awards ceremony, the winner of the Winter Festival grand prize of $2,500 cash will be drawn. The race begins at 10:30am and participants are encouraged to show up 15 minutes prior to the start. The Fruit Loop is free and open to adults and kids of all ages and non-abilities. Be sure to come visit me at the Coldwell office after the run, I'll be opening it for anyone who has cold noses and toes! Photo below is Fish Creek SUMMER! Door County This Weekend--Fish Creek

DOOR COUNTY THIS WEEKEND--It will be an old-fashioned home town Christmas this Sunday in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. This festive event, hosted by the Gibraltar Historical Association begins at 6pm at Noble Square. Enjoy the traditional tree lighting along with old-fashioned caroling, followed by a candle light procession to the Old Town Hall.

At the decorated Town Hall, both children and adults will enjoy making ornaments, games, refreshments, food, desserts, and a visit from Mrs. Claus. Enjoy Door County this weekend and plan your visit to Fish Creek in the Town of Gibraltar.
