| What is GREEN eating? What is SLOW Food?
Join Jennifer Casey, RD and board member of Slow Food WiSE for a discussion about making healthy choices for you and the planet. Jennifer will explore good, clean, and fair foods from all the food groups and finding year round local food resources.
Representatives from Growing Power, Outpost, the Milwaukee Public Market, and the Urban Ecology Center will be present to provide you with community resources that you can use to make Green Eating a part of your daily life. Refreshments including light appetizers and locally produced Rishi tea will be provided.
This event will be held in Raynor Library Conference Center Beaumier Suite and seating is limited.
