Join the Mission River Band on Saturday, June 4th at 1pm at Fiddleheads Cafe in Thiensville at 192 South Main Street. This outdoor concert will benefit ABCD....After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, an organization founded by Melodie Wilson, formerly a Television broadcaster in the greater Milwaukee area.
The Mission River Band evolved from the friendship of a group of guys – all busy in their professions, dedicated to their families, and active in the community – who got together to play simply for the joy of making music with people they liked.
As the friendships deepened, the musicianship improved, the repertoire expanded, and the “mission” of Mission River evolved. MRB inspiration and motivation comes from performing in support of causes that are important to the group’s members.

The members of Mission River Band include: Richard (Dick) Phalen, bass & vocals; Jim Lopina, keyboards & vocals; Bernard (’Bud’) Bobber, guitar & vocals; Dave Karp, guitar & piano; Lou Marino, drums & percussion. They want you to come out , Support ABCD and help them “Rock for a Reason.”
