Almost Stopped Us From,....

Having One Of The Best Nights We've Ever Had!

I was born in Milwaukee WI. It was my home for many years. I love Milwaukee WI and all it has to offer, but sometimes things happen even in places you love that cause concern. Thursday night, opening night for the Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis Wisconsin, was just a night for that.

I've read it is estimated that 200 - 300 people were involved in the attacks, 24 were arrested and 7 police officers were hospitalized. Many say it was racial, many say it was not. To me it is just senseless and cause for concern as I had just purchased tickets to take my little girl for the first time to the Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis Wisconsinand her very first concert, Big Time Rush.

Imagine the relief on my mind when upon arrival all was quiet

~ and ~

after parking this is the greeting we had prior to entering the gates!

Oh, did I tell you this was all a huge surprise to my little girl Destiny? Yep, I never told her where we were going or what we were doing. When we pulled off the interstate at the 84th street exit and she saw the sign for the Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis Wisconsin she was filled with excitement, but cautious apprehension. When we pulled in and parked I heard her suck her breath in. Then the real surprise was about to unfold! We walked up to the entrance, pausing only for a photo op. Then I handed Destiny the tickets to give the young lady. Destiny's eyes lit up and she was filled with exuberance when she read "Big Time Rush" on the tickets!

Okay, so we had nose bleed seats! Just kidding....

This is what the point & shoot camera saw until I zoomed in a little bit!

But, in all honesty, we could see just fine!

It was a great concert and more importantly,..

it made Destiny one happy little girl!

After the concert, Destiny wanted to ride The Sky Rider!

Last night, was Destiny's night!

With recent events I can understand cause for concern. I was greatly concerned as well! Safety Issues At the Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis Wisconsin Almost Stopped Us From,....Having One Of The Best Nights We've Ever Had!

Don't let fear stop you from experiencing life!

And according to Destiny;

"It was the best night of my life!"

So, $10.00 for parking, $18.00 for The Sky Rider, and $60.00 for tickets to my little girls very first concert AND admission to The Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis Wisconsin.

Happiness & an Experience of a lifetime, Priceless!

There were 71 sales in April with an average sales price of $131,365 with a original list to sale ratio of 91.79% and 122 days on the market. There are currently 58 accepted offers with future closing dates.

In April 2010 there were 25 more sales than in 2009 and there were 18 fewer new listings added.

There are currently 560 listings with an average list price of $161,279 and 138 days on the market.

Of all the markets I review, West Allis had the most increase in sales for year to date results. There have been 196 sales in 2010 compared to 140 sales completed in 2009, which is a 40% increase. The tax credit had a tremendous effect on the west allis market. In addition the average sold price in January was 110,000 and it increased in April to $130,000.
