The Annual Greenbrier County Board of Realtors Christmas Party and Installation Luncheon was held today at Blackwell’s Restaurant. Lunch was provided by City National Bank. The food, as usual, was superb!
The meeting started with the Pledge of Allegiance...this was so nice and made me especially proud to be a Realtor. After the pledge, I heard an Amen from someone. Throughout the luncheon, door prizes were given out to the lucky winners. Martha Hilton, Remax, also provided gifts to all the bank/loan officers in attendance, as well as some prizes to lucky ticket holders.
The presentation of awards were presented by Suzanne Horst, 2012 President Elect and Linda Brant, WVAR 2011 State President.
2011 Production Awards went to the following:
Pictured above is Liz Wickline, WV State Director, with GVBOR Directors: Ralph Nash, Bob Baker, Marie Goodwin, Jill Allman, Nancy Sartor, Robert Bittinger, Suzanne Horts and Linda Brant.
Linda Brant presented Liz Wickline, State Chair for RPAC, the RPAC award for meeting and going beyond our RPAC goals, 133%, for state and local. The award will go to the office of the Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors.
Last year an award for the Favorite Realtor of the Year went to Donna Stoner.
This year the Board had a new award, "Professional Realtor of the Year”, and Robert Bittinger of Coldwell Banker Stuart and Watts, was the recipient of this award.
Jennifer Toler, 2012 President, spoke to the attendees on “Filling Your Cup" We should remove the emotional clutter and fill it with energy. We fill our cups with not only coffee, but family, stress, and other things in life. We need to be more forgiving and move forward in life ... just pick and choose what is important to you... and fill your cup with energy and happiness.
Linda Brant received a special gift from the Board for all she has done for GVBOR; and special thanks to Donna Stoner for making the luncheon a big success.
