September and August pending listings were the same (3 pending)

September active listings were down by one (August had 70 active listings)

September new listings were down by 8 (August had 14 new listings)

Ghost Tours of Historic Lewisburg,WV

Enjoy a candlelight walking tour of haunted homes and sites in the Lewisburg Historic District.

Tours take place on Friday and Saturday evenings in October.

The two-hour tour departs at 8:00 PM nightly from The General Lewis Inn located at 301 East Washington Street, Lewisburg, WV. Cost is $20 per person, Children 7 and under free.

Saturday was just beautiful here in Lewisburg, WV .... a warm and sunny day for the "Taste of our Town" (TOOT) Festival. My husband and I worked the booth for the Greenbrier Valley Theatre at TOOT from 11:00 AM til 12 Noon, located in front of the Harmony Ridge Gallery.

We were selling DeFluri's Fine Chocolates....during our one hour shift we sold over 100 pieces of chocolates. I am not sure what the final count was, but we were really busy and people were standing in line for these fine chocolates.

We sold the dark and milk chocolate covered pretzels... a hit with the kids!

TOOT is a benefit for Carnegie Hall and is held every year in downtown Lewisburg, WV. Literally thousands of residents and visitors from across the region converge to gather on the streets of historic downtown Lewisburg to sample delicacies from local restaurants, civic clubs and organizations.

The TOOT is always a big success and very crowded, so you just may want to get there early. Remember that tokens must be purchased to buy food from the local vendors, cash will not be accepted.
